Cooper’s Turkey Grand Slam – April 2018

HICK was ask to help with this Osceola Turkey hunt by Camo Dreams.

Cooper, with the help of his dad, has been able to get all but his Osceola in his quest for his grand slam. Quite an accomplishment for a 14 year old.

The hunting started early Saturday morning with several hens coming in, but no toms would coopperate in coming in close enough for a shot. We hunted all morning, took a break for lunch and hit the woods again in the afternoon and evening. We knew it would be tough on the last weekend of the season in Florida but hopes were high that we would be successful.

Up at it again early Sunday morning. Cooper was able to get a shot a bird on Sunday morning completing his Turkey Grand Slam.
